Today, Holland uses his platform to encourage others facing similar struggles. \u201cI want kids to know \u2014 if you have dyslexia, you\u2019re not broken. You just learn differently,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that his own experiences have given him a special empathy for characters \u2014 and people \u2014 who feel like outsiders. \u201cWhenever I play someone who feels out of place, I get it. I\u2019ve been there,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n
