Tickets were only available to holders of a specific Wells Fargo Autograph card, part of the bank\u2019s branded concert series. No general on-sale. No fan club presale. Just corporate access.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"926\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">For a band whose identity was forged in basements, vans, and Warped Tour chaos, many fans felt the optics were impossible to ignore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"974\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIt\u2019s not punk rock,\u201d became the rallying cry.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1002\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The \u201cCredit Card Wall\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1312\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The controversy began weeks earlier when ticket details surfaced online. To get in, fans didn\u2019t just need fast fingers\u2014they needed the right financial product. Worse, the tickets were non-transferable, meaning resale wasn\u2019t an option unless the original cardholder physically escorted someone into the venue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1314\" data-end=\"1666\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Reddit and X lit up with frustrated posts. Some fans admitted they considered opening a new line of credit just for the show. Others warned against it entirely, calling the move \u201cpredatory\u201d and \u201cclass-gated.\u201d The idea that access to a mosh pit required a credit check struck a nerve\u2014especially in a city already sensitive to tech and banking dominance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1886\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Inside the venue, the divide was visible. While longtime fans sweated it out on the floor, observers noted a balcony filled with Wells Fargo executives and VIP guests watching from above. The 22-song set blended hits like \u201cSugar, We\u2019re Goin Down,\u201d \u201cDance, Dance,\u201d and \u201cThnks fr th Mmrs\u201d with deeper cuts, including a rare \u201cMagic 8 Ball\u201d performance of \u201cHeadfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet.\u201d The traditional closer, \u201cSaturday,\u201d ended with Wentz screaming from the barricade, as chaotic as ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2945\" data-end=\"2978\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">But online, the debate only grew.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3238\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The show doubled as a kickoff event for Super Bowl LX weekend in Northern California, and some fans acknowledged the tradeoff: without sponsorship, an intimate venue like the Regency would\u2019ve been impossible for a band of this size. Others weren\u2019t convinced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3240\" data-end=\"3367\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As one fan wrote bluntly: \u201cI came up on Fall Out Boy in sweaty clubs.
