Neill\u2019s devotion to Pinot Noir is anything but casual. Two Paddocks is uniquely positioned as the only producer with vineyards in all three of Central Otago\u2019s main sub-regions. The original First Paddock<\/strong> in Gibbston marked the beginning. The Last Chance<\/strong> and Red Bank Farm<\/strong> followed in Alexandra, the latter becoming the heart of daily operations. The fourth site, The Fusilier<\/strong> in Bannockburn\u2014named in honor of Neill\u2019s father\u2014has emerged as the crown jewel, producing wines that routinely earn global acclaim, including a celebrated 95-point score from Wine Spectator<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet wine is only half the story. Red Bank Farm has become a minor internet legend thanks to its residents\u2014more than 15 animals named after Neill\u2019s famous friends and collaborators. There\u2019s Taika Waititi<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, a large, mischievous pig; Michael Fassbender<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, an operatic rooster; and a gentle cow named Helena Bonham Carter, complete with calf Laura Dern.
