From Dance Floors to the West End<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cAt 12, I just wanted to dance. I never knew the world would watch,\u201d Holland said, recalling his early years. Raised in London, he discovered dance before he ever imagined a career in film. His talent caught attention at a local festival, leading to a life-changing opportunity: a role in Billy Elliot the Musical<\/em> on the West End stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBilly Elliot<\/em> taught me everything \u2014 discipline, resilience, and how to tell a story through performance,\u201d he shared. \u201cBut I was just a kid. I had no idea where it would lead.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat project took a lot out of me emotionally,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it also made me realize the importance of stepping back \u2014 of finding joy outside the work.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Redefining Success<\/span><\/h3>\n

Today, Holland views his career through a new lens. Stardom remains part of his life, but it no longer defines his sense of purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI love what I do, but I\u2019ve learned that you have to live life to play life,\u201d he explained. \u201cThe best acting comes from real experience \u2014 from love, friendship, laughter, heartbreak. You can\u2019t fake that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Returning to What Matters Most<\/span><\/h3>\n

Looking back, Holland credits his younger self \u2014 the boy who danced for the love of it \u2014 as the foundation for everything he\u2019s become.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI owe so much to that little boy who just wanted to dance,\u201d he said. \u201cHe didn\u2019t care about the cameras or the applause. He just loved the music \u2014 and that\u2019s still who I am.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
