More than four decades later, Allen\u2019s life has taken unexpected turns \u2014 from Hollywood stardom to entrepreneurship \u2014 while her legacy as Marion continues to resonate with fans around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Fearless Breakthrough<\/span><\/h2>\n

After early roles in Animal House<\/span><\/span><\/em> (1978) and Cruising<\/span><\/span><\/em> (1980), Allen\u2019s career changed forever when she was cast opposite Harrison Ford<\/span><\/span><\/strong> in Raiders of the Lost Ark<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Director Steven Spielberg<\/span><\/span><\/strong> later revealed he had been eager to work with Allen since seeing her in Animal House<\/em>. Based in Massachusetts, the business features handcrafted clothing and accessories, allowing Allen to balance creativity with stability. She has said the constant travel required by acting \u2014 and the desire to give her son a grounded upbringing \u2014 inspired her to \u201cplant roots.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re all things that I have a deep fascination for,\u201d she told Today<\/em> of her artistic pursuits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Still Making Waves<\/span><\/h2>\n

Although she stepped away from blockbuster stardom, Allen never left acting entirely. She continues to appear in independent projects and is set to star in the upcoming horror film Other Mommy<\/span><\/span><\/em>, alongside Jessica Chastain<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
