Kylie Kelce, wife of retired NFL star Jason Kelce, offered a grounded perspective on relationships this week after her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, made headlines by claiming he and fianc\u00e9e Taylor Swift have never had an argument.<\/span> Speaking on the Thursday, Dec. 11 episode of her Not Gonna Lie<\/i> podcast, Kylie shared her reaction, prompting a wave of support for her refreshingly honest take on marital disagreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

The discussion stemmed from the Dec. 3 episode of the New Heights<\/i> podcast, where Travis and Jason interviewed guest George Clooney. Clooney had previously stated he had never argued with his wife, Amal Clooney, during their decade of marriage.<\/span> When the Oscar winner turned the question back to Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end replied, “Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right.<\/span> I haven’t gotten into an argument. Never once.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Kylie quickly noticed a conspicuous silence from her husband during that segment. \u201cNotice how my husband was oddly quiet during this segment,\u201d Kylie quipped to her listeners. \u201cHe did ask a couple of clarifying questions. But for the most part, his ass knew that he could not say that after almost eight years married. We absolutely argue.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Kylie, who shares four daughters with Jason, clarified the nature of their own disagreements. \u201cNow, do we argue often? Not really. But we’ve definitely argued, for sure.\u201d She went on to ponder what both Travis and Clooney define as an “argument.” \u201cLike, to be fair, I’m not a yelling arguer. So the arguments in our house, they’re not a yelling situation,\u201d she explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, she isn’t fully buying the claims of perpetual harmony, particularly for couples with children. \u201cI just think that if you’re married, you live together, specifically if you have children, you’re potentially having some sleepless nights. You might have varying degrees of patience with certain situations with your kids.\u201d She added, \u201cYou’re telling me you don’t bicker or argue? Or maybe you do bicker, but you don’t argue? I’m very confused about this.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Kylie did offer a humorous concession to the veteran actor. \u201cTo George Clooney’s credit, I would not argue with Amal either. Absolutely not. I would be right behind her like, \u2018Yeah. Get them, what she said.
