He currently holds a leadership position with Until Freedom, which describes itself as \u201cthe definitive non-profit organization for community activism, education, and rapid response to tragedies resulting from injustice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<hr data-path-to-node=\"7\" \/>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>Mysonne Linen&#8217;s Past Conviction<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The controversy stems from Linen\u2019s criminal history. According to past reports, Linen was convicted of <b>two felony robberies<\/b> in the late 1990s. In 1999, a Bronx jury reportedly found him guilty of two separate armed robberies of taxi drivers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Prosecutors detailed two incidents: the first on June 8, 1997, where Linen was allegedly part of a group that robbed cab driver Joseph Exiri, striking him with a beer bottle; and a second on March 31, 1998, where he allegedly held up cab driver Francisco Monsanto at gunpoint, stealing cash and a ring before fleeing.
