Tom Hardy caused a stir in East London on Monday as he was spotted filming scenes for the highly anticipated second season of Guy Ritchie’s gritty gangster drama, <\/span><\/span>MobLand<\/span><\/span><\/i> .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The 48-year-old actor left little to the imagination after stripping down to a pair of black boxer shorts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He was seen walking around the set in sliders and a T-shirt, with his thigh tattoos clearly visible.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hardy, who plays the brutal fixer Harry Da Souza, was carrying two mobile phones in his hand.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He was closely followed through the streets by a security detail wearing a high-visibility jacket.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MobLand<\/span><\/span><\/i> centers on powerful London crime bosses Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, played by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They are locked in a battle with a rival syndicate threatening to dismantle their criminal empire.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hardy’s character, Harry Da Souza, serves as their enforcer, called upon to deal with their most pressing problems.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The plot for Season 2 remains heavily guarded, but it is expected to pick up immediately after the blood-soaked events of the Season 1 finale.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first season concludes with the Harrigans defeating the Stevenson family, led by Richie (Geoff Bell).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However, the season ends on a dramatic cliffhanger: Harry was stabbed by his own wife, Jan (Joanne Froggatt).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Harry had employed solicitor O’Hara Delaney as a double agent to help dismantle Richie’s gang.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He and Conrad’s eldest son, Kevin (Paddy Considine), subsequently killed Richie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The show’s synopsis sets the stage for the conflict: ‘Power is up for grabs as two warring crime families clash in a battle that threatens to topple empires.’<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

‘In the crossfire stands Harry Da Souza, a street-smart ‘fixer’ who knows too well where loyalties lie when opposing forces collide.’<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The gangster drama premiered on Paramount+ in April and quickly became a fan favorite.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The ten-episode series has achieved a respectable 78 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
