“Not a chance in hell” — P!nk RIPS Kim Kardashian’s parenting after North West, 12, sports fake face tattoos; singer says she’d “never allow” Willow to do the same

Pop-punk icon P!nk has waded into the debate surrounding Kim Kardashian’s parenting, stating she would “never allow” her own daughter, Willow, to emulate the look recently sported by 12-year-old North West.

The controversy erupted after North West, the daughter of SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye “Ye” West, appeared in several clips on her joint TikTok account with her mother, showcasing an edgy new look. North, 12, was seen with fake face tattoos, a faux nose piercing, and “grillz” on her teeth, accompanied by friends sporting similar temporary body modifications.

While the modifications were confirmed to be temporary—North captioned one post, “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life”—the look sparked immediate online criticism. Comments on a viral video, like “How about go be a kid” and “This is just sad,” indicated widespread concern over the pre-teen’s appearance.

The backlash quickly drew a sharp response from P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Moore. According to sources, the outspoken singer dismissed the situation entirely with a firm, “Not a chance in hell,” when asked about her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, sporting a similar style. P!nk’s personal experience as a mother seems to inform her stance, emphasizing a more traditional boundary for her child.

For her part, Kim Kardashian, 45, has strongly defended her daughter, calling the public outrage “Such a non-issue 😭” via a comment from the shared Kim and North TikTok account.

During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on October 15, Kardashian spoke about navigating her daughter’s bold fashion choices and asked for a “little bit of grace.”

“She’s really confident… she’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care that they don’t like… my blue hair or this or that,'” Kardashian said, championing North’s individualism.

The reality star, who also shares children Saint, Chicago, and Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West, did, however, admit to parenting mistakes. This follows prior controversy when North was seen wearing a dermal piercing on her middle finger during a trip to Rome in September.

“I’m like, okay, we’re never wearing that again. Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world,” Kardashian confessed on the podcast. “As a mom, you’re kind of like learning at the same time.”

Ultimately, Kardashian is supporting North’s self-expression, noting that her daughter is already “perfecting” special effects makeup classes and that she loves her “lip liner.” While P!nk draws a clear, personal line, Kardashian continues to navigate the complexities of raising a confident, creative pre-teen in the global spotlight.
