Blake Shelton Shares the Joy of Bringing Gwen Stefani to His Untamed Oklahoma Ranch

Since their wedding in July 2021, country star Blake Shelton and pop icon Gwen Stefani have successfully merged two drastic different worlds. While they still spend time in the bustling atmosphere of Los Angeles, Shelton recently revealed that introducing Stefani to the grounded, rural life of Oklahoma has become one of the most profound joys of his life. Speaking on the Michael Waddell Podcast, Shelton reflected on the beauty of watching his wife discover a sense of peace she never experienced growing up in Southern California.

A Surprising Discovery of Private Wilderness Shelton recalls one of the most memorable moments from Stefani’s early visits to his ranch involving a simple walk to a nearby creek. Having spent her life in urban and suburban California, Stefani was shocked that such pristine nature could be privately owned. Shelton laughed as he remembered her asking if the creek was part of a national or state park. The realization that she could own a piece of land featuring a running river and untouched scenery was a major turning point in her appreciation for the country lifestyle.

Escaping the Paparazzi for the Great Outdoors For Stefani, who has spent three decades in the intense glare of the spotlight, the ranch offers a rare commodity: true privacy. Shelton noted that for the first time in years, his wife could step outside without being followed by photographers. She has fully embraced the “untamed” environment, spending her mornings walking the ranch roads and soaking in the quiet. This freedom to exercise and explore without a crowd has allowed the “Hollaback Girl” singer to fall in love with the slower pace of the Midwest.

Balancing Rural Peace with High-Octane Performances Despite their love for the quiet life, the couple’s professional calendars remain packed for the coming year. Shelton is set to trade the ranch for the neon lights of Las Vegas in early 2026, where he will perform a series of dates at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace throughout January. Stefani will also be making her way to Nevada shortly after. She is scheduled to reunite with her band, No Doubt, for a highly anticipated residency at The Sphere during May and June 2026, proving that while they love the woods, they aren’t quite ready to leave the stage behind.
