Kyle Rittenhouse, who gained national prominence following the 2020 Kenosha shootings, re-emerged on social media Wednesday to announce his marriage. He shared a striking wedding photograph featuring his bride, identified as Bell, holding an AR-style rifle while dressed in her white gown.
The image, which quickly circulated online, places the couple firmly within the pro-gun rights community. Rittenhouse’s bride is reportedly named Bella, and some reports suggest the couple quietly tied the knot six months ago.
Rittenhouse first entered the national conversation on August 25, 2020, after using an AR-15 rifle during civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, which resulted in the fatal shooting of two men and the wounding of a third. He was subsequently charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of reckless endangerment related to the melee during Black Lives Matter riots.
On November 19, 2021, a jury found Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges, as his attorneys successfully argued he acted in self-defense.
Hours after posting the wedding photos, Rittenhouse used an X post to address his public and political stance, directly referencing the Kenosha incident. “I support the Second Amendment because without it, I might not be here today,” he wrote. “In 2020, when I was 17, I was put in a situation where violent criminals attacked me, struck me in the head multiple times, and one even pointed a gun at my face.”
He continued by emphasizing his acquittal and survival as proof of the constitutional right to bear arms. “I’m no hero. I had no choice but to defend my own life in that moment. I’m not in prison — and I’m alive — because the Founders recognized our God-given right to self-defense, and the jury recognized that simple fact.”
Rittenhouse concluded his post with a call to action for his followers, signaling a renewed presence in political advocacy. “If you believe we must defend the Second Amendment with everything we’ve got, follow me. More coming soon… stay tuned.”
