The Confession That Erupted in Laughter
The entire set erupted in laughter when Hutcherson candidly revealed the outcome during a promotional interview, stating the prank was the ultimate success. “She went to go to the bathroom and opened the door, and there was the dummy. And she apparently peed her pants,” said Hutcherson. He added, to howls of laughter, “I didn’t see it, but yeah, sources say that she actually opened the floodgates… That is called a success.” Jennifer Lawrence later admitted that the story’s scale had been slightly exaggerated, clarifying that she “didn’t fully pee my pants,” but confessed that being scared while already needing to go did cause a “tiny bit of pee came out.” Her slightly mortified but good-natured reaction to the humiliation, which quickly became public knowledge, instantly stole the spotlight and cemented the story as Hunger Games legend.
