Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani ‘Solid’ Despite Split Rumors, Source Confirms

Superstar couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are reportedly heading into the holiday season stronger than ever. This comes despite recent speculation surrounding their marriage. A source close to Stefani exclusively tells PEOPLE that there is “no truth to the split rumors.”

The source firmly squashed reports that the couple’s relationship has been strained due to their demanding professional lives. “They’ve just been juggling demanding schedules,” the insider revealed. The source added that “When they are together, it’s just so obvious how solid they are.”

Shelton, 49, and Stefani, 56, have navigated a busy 2025 and are preparing for an even busier 2026. The country star left The Voice in 2023 after nearly two dozen seasons. He released his 13th studio album, For Recreational Use Only, in May. Shelton also executive-produced and starred in the CBS singing competition The Road. In August, he announced an eight-night residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas starting in January. This follows a successful six-show residency in the same venue in February.

Stefani has also maintained a packed schedule. She released a deluxe version of her album Bouquet in March. Recently, her band No Doubt announced they will play six shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas this coming May.

The source explained how the couple manages their high-profile careers and family life. “Sometimes they spend a lot of family time together and really treasure that,” the insider said. “And then there are periods when the focus is more on work.” Both artists remain passionate about their professions. “They’re both at a place in their careers where they still genuinely enjoy what they do and they don’t want to give that up.”

The insider acknowledged the challenges of balancing it all. “Is it easy all the time? Of course not. They have a lot on their plates and a lot to balance,” the source noted. “But that’s just how it is when you’re a family and both parents have careers.” Shelton became a stepdad to Stefani’s sons—Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 11—when the couple married in July 2021 after six years of dating.

In May, Shelton spoke to PEOPLE about celebrating his 10th anniversary with the “Just a Girl” singer. He confessed that time is “honestly” flying by. “Some of the things we talk about, we’re to the point in our relationship that it’s like, ‘Oh, remember what happened…’ and you realize, ‘Oh my God, that was eight years ago!’” he said. The “Texas” singer emphasized that his relationship with Stefani “still feels new for me.” He concluded, “I feel like that might be the key to happiness, is that it feels just as exciting and new and happy.”
