Trump Vows to Nullify All Biden Autopen Actions, Including Pardons and Commutations

President Donald Trump has escalated his vow to void actions taken by the administration of President Joe Biden, specifically targeting documents signed using an autopen device. In a post on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, Trump declared he would “fully and completely” terminate any such documents. This includes pardons and commutations issued under Biden.

“Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized ‘AUTOPEN,’ within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect,” Trump wrote.

The post explicitly warns recipients of clemency actions: “Anyone receiving ‘Pardons,’ ‘Commutations,’ or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect.”

This declaration reinforces a similar statement Trump made last week, where he announced he would void any executive orders signed using Biden’s autopen. He reiterated his claim that the use of an autopen requires specific presidential approval, asserting that “The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him.”

Trump claimed in the same post that Biden did not personally approve autopen signatures, despite the device being used by presidential administrations since Truman. He also alleged that 92% of Biden’s documents were signed with the autopen.

The Biden administration signed over 160 executive orders. The list of potentially voided pardons, Fox News Digital confirmed, does not include President Biden’s son, Hunter, whose pardon was signed by hand. However, the list of alleged autopen pardons reportedly includes Dr. Anthony Fauci and Biden’s brother, James Biden.

Near the end of his term, President Biden issued a pardon spree involving over 1,500 people. This list includes Gen. Mark Milley and members and staff of the House committee investigating Jan. 6. The pardon for Hunter Biden covered offenses he “has committed or may have committed” from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024.
