Queen Unveil Immersive Freddie Mercury ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ 360 Experience

The legendary rock band Queen has launched a special Freddie Mercury Bohemian Rhapsody 360 VR experience, an immersive video now featured on their official YouTube series, Queen The Greatest. This latest episode offers fans a unique way to celebrate the masterpiece, and notably, does not require a VR headset for viewing.

The band made the exciting announcement earlier today, inviting fans globally to explore the new content. They stated that the experience is accessible whether using a smartphone, tablet, desktop, or laptop computer. For those who own one, a VR headset can also be utilized for an enhanced view. The feature combines an exclusively produced video with a trove of rare photographs from the band’s archives.

The new 360 video is designed to transport the viewer into a distinct visual space. It is set within a stark white void, deliberately chosen to be reminiscent of the cover of the track’s parent album, A Night At The Opera. Inside this virtual environment, the iconic song plays, accompanied by a brand new, specially curated video. This visual montage celebrates the 50th anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody, showcasing classic moving images of Queen’s powerful live performances of the track.

Beyond the new celebratory footage, the 360 experience is packed with additional content for dedicated fans. Viewers will also be able to access the song’s original groundbreaking promotional video. Furthermore, the feature includes on-screen lyrics, allowing fans to follow along with every twist and turn of the operatic rock epic. Finally, a collection of the single covers from various releases across the world is also incorporated into the experience. This new launch ensures that Bohemian Rhapsody continues to engage and excite audiences half a century after its creation.
