Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s expanding film empire is set to release its next major project, the crime drama ‘Moses the Black,’ which will hit US theaters on January 30, 2026. The film boasts a star-studded cast led by rappers Quavo and Wiz Khalifa , alongside veteran actor Omar Epps and former boxing champion Deontay Wilder.
The gangland flick, which centers on themes of redemption and change, is set in present-day Chicago and is inspired by the story of the fifth-century saint of the same name.
The Cast and Plot
The story revolves around a Chicago gang leader named Malik, a role played by Omar Epps ( Power Book III: Raising Kanan ). The key cast includes:

Wiz Khalifa as 2wo-3ree , the volatile and confident leader of Malik’s young crew. Khalifa will also executive produce the film’s original soundtrack.

Quavo as Straw , Malik’s arch-nemesis, continues to build on his growing list of acting credits, which includes Praise This and Cash Out .

Chukwudi Iwuji ( Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ) portrays the title character, St. Moses the Black .

The cast is rounded out by Detroit rapper Skilla Baby and heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder .
The film is written and directed by Yelena Popovic , known for the award-winning film Man of God .
A Focus on Redemption
50 Cent, who is on board as an Executive Producer through his G-Unit Film & Television, emphasizes the film’s powerful narrative.

The project marks a collaboration between 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television, Fathom Entertainment, Simeon Faith, and the Nick Mirkopoulos Cinematic Fund.

In addition to his production work on Moses the Black , 50 Cent is also scheduled to star in the Street Fighter reboot as Balrog, further cementing his place as a powerhouse in both music and film production.
